Mount Toubkal Ascent

Meet and greet at the airport by our guide or a member of Terres et voyages team. Then short transfer to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time you will have free time to explore the magical red city.

After breakfast, you will head towards the Toubkal national park. We cross the Haouz low land and the beautiful Asni gorges that make up the green Atlas valley, before reaching our meeting point. Here we will meet our guide and authentic mule team.

From valley to valley, our walk takes us on a discovery of the magnificent Toubkal valley with its beautiful villages. We will stop at the “Chamonix of the Atlas”, the authentic villages of Imlil and Aremd. All expeditions start and finish here, where Berber warmth and hospitality are extended to all travellers. Discover culture and traditions that have been handed down through generations.

Today we hike to the top of the iconic Mount Toubkal. We follow well established trails full of history. On the summit feel the expansive sensations of freedom and silence. Absorb the impressive views of the whole Atlas range, the lowlands of the north, the valleys and the beginnings of the Sahara desert. Toubkal climb is a dream that deserves to be fulfilled and it is of an accessible level for all.

You have your dream but your journey has not ended. This morning, we leave the wilderness and the winds of the Atlas peaks to find the sweetness of the deep valley of Imlil. Here we say farewell to our guide and mule team and we join our vehicle to take the road back to magical Marrakech.
