A grand crossing of the Sahara, between dunes, oases, and plateaus, for a physical and human immersion in the Moroccan desert.
Here you are, in the land of the setting sun… the Maghreb! Marrakech, the ochre city, welcomes you. Marhbabikoum!
Transfer for the adventure. Crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260m), then fabulous landscapes along the Draa Valley and the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Meet our camel team and begin the trek. Hike through a landscape of dunes and tamarisk trees. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
The vast Sahara unfolds before you, with the Hamada du Draa on the horizon. During this trek, you will cross oases, palm groves, dunes, abandoned villages, the great erg of Chegaga, a sacred spring…
Then you’ll cross the Bani mountain range, this time at a significant altitude. You’ll pass through a mountain pass and enjoy magnificent panoramic views. The final stage of our tour takes you through a stunning rocky valley before reaching a small pass. There, you’ll have a view of the vast Faija plateau, dotted with acacia trees and a few verdant farms.
