Overview
Set off for an immersive experience in the heart of the Aït Bougmez Valley, nicknamed the “Happy Valley”, at the foot of the High Atlas. From Marrakech, this stay invites you to explore pristine nature on foot, between Berber villages, terraced fields and breathtaking mountain landscapes.
Based in a warm and welcoming mountain lodge, you set out each day on accessible circular walks departing from your accommodation. You discover high-altitude shepherd shelters, natural springs, archaeological sites and even dinosaur footprints, while sharing authentic moments with the local inhabitants.
The programme can be enjoyed independently, accompanied by a mule handler and his pack mule, or in a guided version with an experienced certified guide from Espaces Naturels, fluent in French and Berber and originally from the region.

Detox and rejuvenation between desert and walking, alternating reflexology, hiking and self-massage to restore calm and inner well-being.
– The next day, you travel towards the Aït Bougmez Valley via Azilal. You settle into a guesthouse in Ikhf N’Ighir, the starting point for several hikes.
– Over four days, you explore the valley on foot: discovering Berber villages, high-altitude shepherd shelters, agricultural terraces, and remarkable sites such as the sanctuary of Sidi Moussa.
– The walks (4 to 5 hours per day) also take you to sites with dinosaur footprints and to the Ansous spring, in the heart of pristine nature.
– After this immersion in the Atlas Mountains, return to Marrakech for a final night.
