Located just a few minutes from the historic walls of the Medina, amid dozens of hectares of farmland and olive groves, Dar Al Hossoun is an eco-conscious retreat built entirely by local artisans using traditional techniques and natural materials, including wood, raw earth and fired clay.
Our 8 Garden Rooms, 6 Junior Suites and 4 Deluxe Suites are spread throughout the property across three interconnected areas: Al Hossoun, surrounding the main courtyard garden; the citrus orchard; and Al Borj. Some rooms are centrally located, close to the main living and activity areas of the property, including the dining spaces, while others are more secluded, offering greater peace and tranquillity among the gardens.
Each room and suite has its own layout, décor and amenities, and all offer beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and gardens.
You will be amazed by the lush abundance and unique combination of nearly 1,000 plant varieties from desert regions around the world. Discover an exceptional collection of agaves, kalanchoes, aloes, cacti, euphorbias, opuntias and many other species, all managed using environmentally responsible practices.
Beyond their aesthetic appeal, the gardens also serve as experimental and conservation gardens, dedicated to protecting plant species that are endangered or have already disappeared from the wild.
Every day, our chef and kitchen team welcome you to this idyllic garden setting for lunch and dinner, served in the gardens, on the terraces or on the rooftop. In the afternoon, you can also enjoy our poolside menu.
