A warm welcome, crossing the Atlas Mountains towards the desert, exploring the Draa Valley on camelback, immersing yourself in a Saharan village, then returning to Marrakech.
You will be greeted by a member of the team and escorted to your hotel.
Barely having finished breakfast, you set off for the far south. And already the change of scenery works its magic! You cross the Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tikha pass (2260m), admire the verdant valleys of the High Atlas, Ouarzazate, Agdz, and Zagora before arriving at your rendezvous with your camel-herding friends who are waiting for you… in the Draa Valley. Dinner and overnight camping.
Over the next few days, you will discover a wide variety of landscapes. You will travel along the stunning Draa Valley with its string of oases and magnificent earthen villages, which you will pass through, enjoying the languid atmosphere. You will then discover different deserts: ergs, regs, dunes, ksours, palm groves… quite an itinerary!
Today, you will arrive at the Saharan village of Oulaid D’Riss. You will visit this stunning Saharan village where you will discover a community whose survival depends on collective action. You will visit its eco-museum where you will be invited to a traditional Moroccan dinner. Forget forks and knives! Rediscover the pleasure of the senses by sharing a meal and digging in the food! Dinner will be served in Bedouin tents.
It’s back to the Red City. The film unfolds, but in reverse this time. Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon. Check-in at your hotel.
